If you recently purchased a yacht and need some one-on-one boat handling tips and training, from a charter boat captain with decades of experiences, look no further.
I will travel to your location and teach you how to be proficient in close quarters boat handling on your boat.
If you are planning to operate as a couple, we can go through all the moves and procedures the two of you will use as you prepare to arrive at the dock, or leave. As well as the things the two of you need to be aware of as you operate the vessel as a team.
I like to say training builds confidence. As you become more proficient in running the boat in close quarters, you'll naturally build confidence, and things will automatically become more enjoyable.
Without over simplification, there's a handful of skills that great captains possess. How to observe and account for wind and current is one. Whether the vessel is a twin screw or single, and how that affects the piloting is another.
At the end of the day there's no better way to be trained than to have a captain impart his skills right there on your boat, one on one, in real conditions.
