ABOUT THE CRUISE
Before we describe one of these cruises we need to ask you a few questions. Where would you like to go? Where do you want to end up after the cruise, and how much time do you want to spend seeing the world?
If the goal of the cruise has to do with purchasing a trawler yacht and you need to experience the cruising lifestyle before you invest money, look no further. We can tailor a trip that includes anchoring out one night, and docking in a transient slip so you experience the two different ways you'll spend your nights.
If you're a seasoned sail boater or power boater and want to experience the “Trawler Lifestyle” we’ll select an itinerary suited to where you want to go, how you want to spend your days and nights. We'll create the itinerary aimed towards your preferences.
Or, perhaps all you need is travel from point A to point B and traveling by boat sounds like fun and enjoying the scenery along the way is more your speed. An example of this is, let's say you fly to Southwest Florida to visit Marco Island, and you're spending time in Fort Meyers. A leisurely boat trip from point A to B is great way to spend a day.
If your desire is to spend an extended time cruising we could put an awesome trip together consisting of multiple days and nights complete with memories to last a lifetime.
An example of an extended cruise like this could start in Marco Island, cruise down to Key West, spend the night at a marina and explore the city the following day. Then cruise to the Dry Tortugas National Park and spend a few days there, returning back to Marco Island. A trip like this would last a week to ten days. Planning a trip for you is limited only by your imagination.
The way these cruises are typucally structured is; first we understand that everything we do is weather dependent. Safety of the guests, crew and vessel is the single most important aspect.
Next is the cost. What's your budget? This is based on several factors, but primarily it’s the time we’ll spend together on the yacht from the start point until we return to the desired port. Whether that's the same port or a different destination, that's entirely up to you.
Provisioning for the trip, meaning food and beverages are an addition cost, so you have the flexibility to select a menu that suits your lifestyle and dietary needs.
The captain, first mate, and fuel for the boat are included in the total price of the cruise.
Some price examples would be;
• A cruise for 7 days similar the one described starts at $21,000.00. Additional days will add $3,000 to the total price
• A shorter cruise lasting 3 days would be $9,000.00.
Another example of an overnight cruise would be to travel to Key West, stay in a marina and use the yacht as your floating hotel room. At the end of your time in the Keys return home from Key West airport or sail back to Marco. Again, all these examples are ideas. The actual cruise we create together is based on your imagination.
